Mrs. Comer graduated from Salem State College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Sociology.  She has worked primarily in a Christian school setting for the past 15 years.  She loves teaching and building the foundation of students' school careers, especially focusing on social and emotional skills.  She looks forward to watching her students grow in their minds, faith, and discovery.  

Mrs. Kramasz holds a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies and brings over 20 years of experience in educating young children. She believes teaching is a calling from God and feels deeply honored to help guide and nurture His greatest blessings. With a passion for shaping young minds, Mrs. Kramasz is dedicated to bringing Jesus into the hearts of her students and helping them grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually. 

She finds great joy in walking alongside children in their learning and faith journeys and is committed to create a loving, Christ-centered classroom environment that will leave a lasting impact in the lives of her students and their families.

Mrs. McAuley graduated from California State University East Bay and earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology. Mrs. McAuley has worked in Christian settings, teaching young children biblical truths for many years. She has a passion for building students up in their faith and knowledge. She looks forward to seeing them grow in these ways!

Mrs. Klobas-Henning has been an educator since 2006 and had taught a wide range of different grade levels. She earned her bachelors degree in Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California as well as her multiple subject teaching credential. She feels extremely bless to be part of the King's Valley Family and looks forward to guiding and directing her students towards success.

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Madelyn Hansen to our King's Valley Christian School family as our new 2nd grade teacher! Mrs. Hansen graduated from Grand Canyon University where she earned a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Hansen has a heart for Christian education and is passionate about helping students grow academically and spiritually.

Ms. Fetterly is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She also holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Diablo Valley College and has earned her ACSI Elementary Educator Certification. With 11 years of experience in Christian education, teaching is truly her passion. She considers it both her calling and her joy to lead students in discovering God's purpose for their lives while helping them grow academically and spiritually. 

This year, she is excited to step into the role of Upper Elementary Lead Teacher, where she will partner with and support the 3rd–5th grade teaching team as they continue to provide academic excellence and Christ-centered education.

Ms. Matiuk holds a Professional Clear CA Credential, a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Literature, and a Master’s in Addictive Disorders. She brings 15 years of combined teaching and youth counseling experience, including 10 years with Los Angeles Unified serving diverse, under-resourced communities and later serving as a counselor for at-risk students.  She is passionate about Christian-based education and creating a space where students feel known, encouraged, and inspired to discover their God-given gifts.  

Ms. Matiuk is blessed to begin her 2nd year at KVCS, helping students grow academically, spiritually, and in character through Christ-centered learning.

This year, Pastor Wolfe is excited to transition into teaching 4th grade, where she looks forward to guiding and encouraging students as they continue to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. 

A proud 2000 King's Valley Christian School alumna, Pastor Wolfe graduated from Eugene Bible College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has previously taught 3rd grade and served as a reading tutor. In addition to her role at King's Valley, she serves as the Worship Pastor at Life Church, where she is passionate about leading others into God's presence through worship. 

Pastor Wolfe is passionate about investing in the future through the education and spiritual guidance of young people and feels called by the Lord to help her students become world changers, making each school year an exciting journey of faith and learning.

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Gollehon into her new role as our 4th grade teacher! While this will be her first year in the classroom, she is already a familiar and valued member of the King's Valley community. As both a King's Valley parent since 2014 and a recent member of our Extended Care team, she has built meaningful relationships with our students and families. 

Mrs. Gollehon earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from California State University, East Bay. She also holds an ACSI Elementary Educator Certification. Before joining Kings Valley full-time she enjoyed a successful 25-year career in banking, including 6 years in Learning & Development, where she trained and mentored adult learners. 

Mrs. Gollehon is grateful for the opportunity to follow God's calling to work with children and is excited to begin this new chapter. 

Mrs. O’Brien graduated from California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Education and Psychology.  During her 30-year education career she taught 5th, 6th, and 7th grade, and 5/6 combination class. Mrs. O’Brien also served as a vice principal, a middle school and an elementary school principal, as well as a district office administrator.  She retired in 2018 but joined us last year to teach 4th grade. She says the experience is reminding her of her first love in education – TEACHING!  

Mrs. O’Brien loves teaching all academic subjects and works to help every child grow to his or her fullest potential.  She is thrilled to be able to teach in a Christian environment for the first time in her career, deeply appreciating the amazing opportunity to teach children about Jesus, to pray with them, and to help them live a Christian life even in their very early years.

Mrs. Noonan graduated from Fresno State with a BA in Home Economics/Family Studies Emphasis and with a minor in Spanish and Psychology. She was in full time ministry with college students and always found ways to use her gift of teaching to serve others. Since 2014 Mrs. Noonan has been a guest teacher in public and private schools and found her niche with elementary age children. She has a special place in her heart for learning about other cultures and languages and desires to pass along as she teaches. 

After faithfully serving as a full-time 5th grade teacher, Mrs. McDonald now partners with Mrs. Noonan one day each week, allowing her to continue investing in our students while focusing on the needs of her family during this season. While we have appreciated her years of full-time service, we are grateful she continues to be part of the King's Valley community. 

Mrs. McDonald is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Liberal Studies and holds teaching credentials in both California and New Jersey, where she has taught in Los Angeles and East Brunswick. She is passionate about helping students develop strong math and literacy skills while fostering a positive growth mindset in every area of learning. 

Mrs. Johnson received her Masters in Biology and Education from reputed universities in India and has over 10 years of teaching experience. She is excited to inspire her students to discover, experience the World of STEAM education, and integrate with Biblical worldview. She aspires to kindle young minds to develop creativity and problem-solving skills through fun hands-on activities.

Mrs. Gonzalez has been a faithful member of the King's Valley Christian School family since 2001, serving both as a dedicated teacher and a King's Valley parent. As one of our longest-tenured faculty members, she has impacted the lives of countless students through her passion for teaching Spanish. She loves helping students develop confidence in reading, writing, and speaking a second language while fostering an appreciation for the richness of Hispanic language and culture. Mrs. Gonzalez considers it a joy to inspire curiosity, build meaningful relationships, and encourage students as they grow both academically and personally.

Mrs. Hertzfeldt graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in child development.  She is blessed to have worked with children from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities for the past 20 years.  She is looking forward to sharing her passion for children's literature and fostering a lifelong relationship with Christ.

Dr. Gualderama, affectionately known to students as Dr. G., holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Physiology. After many years as an optometrist, he felt God's calling to transition into Christian education and began his teaching career at Pacific Bay Christian in 2008. 

At King's Valley Christian School, Dr. G. not only teaches middle school students but also serves as the Middle School Lead Teacher, partnering with and supporting his fellow middle school teachers while helping strengthen the academic program. He is deeply committed to helping students grow both academically and spiritually and looks forward to inspiring them to become lifelong learners and lifelong followers of Christ.

A Bay Area native, Mr. Holmes brings over a decade of coaching experience with ELEVATE, where he’s known for his positive approach, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. A standout player at Ygnacio Valley High School and Diablo Valley College, he went on to play at Fresno Pacific University, earning a degree in Communication. Beyond the court, Mr. Holmes has served as an ABA therapist supporting families of students with autism and most recently worked in school leadership and as a middle school English teacher at Core Academy. 

This year, he will also step into the role of Co-Lead Teacher for Middle School, working alongside and learning from Dr. G as he supports and encourages the middle school teaching team. As he enters his second year at King's Valley Christian School, Mr. Holmes looks forward to continuing to serve students while stepping into his new role as Co-Lead Teacher for Middle School, helping cultivate a strong, Christ-centered learning community.

Mrs. Baker earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Northern Philippines and holds an ACSI teaching certificate.  With over 25 years of teaching experience, she has a passion for helping students discover the wonders of science through the lens of God's creation.  She loves showing her students God's creativity and power through the natural world while guiding them to see His love and promises revealed through His creation.  Mrs. Baker enjoys incorporating hands-on activities after lessons to help students explore scientific concepts, deepen their understanding, and develop a greater appreciation for the many wonders of the world God has created.

We are excited to announce that this year, Mr. McAuley will be serving in two new roles at King's Valley Christian School as Dean of Academics and Middle School Math Teacher. Math has always been a passion of his, and he looks forward to helping students build confidence, think critically, and develop a love for learning. As Dean of Academics, he will partner closely with the Principal to support the school's academic programs, curriculum, and student success. 

Mr. McAuley graduated from California State University, East Bay with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with the Teacher Preparation Concentration. He has a passion for guiding students in growing both their minds and their faith and has dedicated his life to serving in schools and churches. He is honored to educate students in both biblical truth and academic excellence at King's Valley Christian School.

Mr. Seeley graduated from California Baptist University and earned his Bachelor degree in Psychology. Mr. Seeley has had the privilege of growing up in church, working and volunteering in Children's and Youth ministry for many years. His passion for helping children learn to love God’s Word is his main priority as he focuses on teaching what the Bible says and how to live it out. He is excited to embark on this next journey of helping deliver God’s Word and helping develop lifelong followers of Christ.

I was born in Walnut Creek, raised in Concord, and I graduated from Ygnacio Valley High School. I earned an Associate of Arts degree from Diablo Valley College, then transferred to UC Santa Barbara & earned a Bachelor of Science degree. I started with King's Valley in 2022 teaching art. Now I have the privilege of teaching 6th grade math as well as art classes. I look forward to seeing each student shine, as they discover their individual talents, grow in their faith & advance on their academic journey!

Mr. Rilli earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, East Bay. Before joining King’s Valley as our new 7th and 8th grade history teacher, he served as a substitute teacher on campus, where he discovered a passion for teaching and building meaningful relationships with students.

Mr. Rilli believes history is about more than learning dates and events—it’s about understanding how the past shapes the present, developing critical thinking skills, and growing in both knowledge and faith. He looks forward to partnering with families as he encourages students to pursue excellence, discover the gifts God has given them, and grow as confident learners and followers of Christ. 

King’s Valley holds a special place in his heart, as his son is a graduate of the school and his daughter is a current student. He is thankful to now serve the same community that has been such a blessing to his own family.

Coach Owen is excited to be returning to King’s Valley for his second year of teaching! He graduated from Macalester College in Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, where he also had the opportunity to play football. King’s Valley has always felt like home to him—he attended here from 2nd through 8th grade, and before joining the teaching staff, he served in our Extended Care program and as a substitute teacher in K–8 classrooms. He considers it a joy to invest in our students, and is looking forward to another year of helping them learn, grow, and discover all that God has for them.

Mr. Rotenberry has been part of the King’s Valley Staff for 10 years, his vast knowledge of the performing arts comes from many years working with local and industry professionals. From stage presence, stage directing and set building, he teaches the students the importance of the community of the theatre and expression of their God given talents.

Mr. Van Liew piloted the King's Valley band program in 2014. In the fall of 2016, he joined the staff in a bigger role as the band program continues to expand into the junior high! Besides working with the band, Mr. Van Liew is also a talented artist specializing in watercolor. His passion is to help each student find their musical talent!

We are excited to welcome Mr. Mitchel Hansen into his new role as Dean of Students at King's Valley Christian School! While some of our students and families may already know Mr. Hansen through his work in our Extended Care program and as a member of the Life Church family, we are excited for our entire school community to get to know him in this new leadership role. 

As Dean of Students, he will help cultivate a positive, safe, and Christ-centered school culture by partnering with students, families, teachers, and administration to encourage growth in character and support student success.
