King's Valley Faculty

A strong faculty is the backbone of a great school. At King's Valley, our team works together to develop the talents and abilities of our students. Each of our faculty serving in a core area are certified through ACSI and/or the state of California. 

  • Myrna Aiello

    Mrs. Aiello has been at King's Valley since 2000. She worked in Extended Care in the early years, has been coordinating volunteers and events the best known of which is the Scholastic Book Fair. Mrs. Aiello has a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice specializing in Probation. She has been active in Children's and Youth ministry for over 20 years. She looks forward to continuing to help students with their growth at KVCS and promoting the love God has for us!

  • Rovilla Baker

    Mrs. Baker received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the Philippines. She also holds an ACSI teaching certificate and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Baker has a passion for science and for showing children the influence of God throughout the sciences. She is looking forward to teaching her students about the many miracles of science.

  • Juliana Basil

    Mrs. Basil has been serving in Christian education for over ten years, both as a teacher and as an administrator. She earned her bachelors degree in Liberal Studies from Bethany University in 2004 and has a masters degree in Educational Administration from Fort Hays State University. She joined the staff at King's Valley in 2017 and is enthusiastic about teaching third grade. It is her goal that every child in her class loves coming to school and is challenged academically.

  • Irma Gamez

    Mrs. Gamez has been contributing to the success of students at King's Valley since 2010. Mrs. Gamez has taught primarily in kindergarten and first grade. With her degree from Cal Berkeley, and an ACSI teaching credential, Mrs. Gamez is also expecting to finish her California state credential.

  • Genie Garcia

    Mrs. Garcia is a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University, where she majored in Music with a double-emphasis on both piano and voice. Recently, while working with disadvantaged students in Antioch, she realized her passion for classroom instruction. Returning to school herself, she is currently a student at Western Governors University, where she is majoring in Special Education and will graduate with dual credentials. Mrs. Garcia has an extensive history teaching music in both private and classroom settings. She was married in June 2016 and has an adorable yellow Labrador named Leo.

  • Guadalupe Gonzalez

    Mrs. Gonzalez has been teaching here at King's Valley since 2001. She enjoys teaching her students to succeed in reading, writing, and speaking a second language that will further deepen their cultural knowledge.

  • Martha Hildreth

    Mrs. Hildreth received her BA with a double major In Psychology and Bible from Bethany Bible College. She has taught for over 20 years at King's Valley. In that time, she's been involved in nearly every elementary level and in the preschool running the successful Jump Start program.

  • Tammy Johnson

    Mrs. Johnson joined the staff at King's Valley in 2015. She earned her bachelors degree from the University of California Davis in Economics with a minor in Rhetoric and Communications. She believes in the power of Christian education and challenges each student to be the best version of themselves. She is excited to walk with each student on their journey today, as they prepare for tomorrow.

  • Kelly Klobas-Henning

    Mrs. Klobas-Henning has been an educator since 2006 and had taught a wide range of different grade levels. She earned her bachelors degree in Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California as well as her multiple subject teaching credential. She feels extremely bless to be part of the King's Valley Family and looks forward to guiding and directing her students towards success.

  • Alex Lafferty

    Mrs. Lafferty has been teaching at King's Valley since 1998. She has a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She maintains a California Multi-Subject Teaching Credential and an ACSI teaching credential. She has a passion for Middle School students and loves math and science! Ask her about her dogs some time! :)

  • Jennifer Lampimaki

    Ms. Lynn has taught 3rd grade, but has found her niche teaching middle school English for the past 5 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English as well as an ACSI teaching credential. She loves to enliven her students love of reading and writing; and enjoys using these tools to help her students gain new perspectives on themselves and the world around them.

  • Andrea Leichliter

    Mrs. Leichliter graduated from Cal State East Bay with a BA in Liberal Studies (option in Early Childhood Development) and a California State Teaching Credential. In 2007 she began her teaching career in the public school system. She joined our staff here at King's Valley in 2009. Over the years she has taught in many grade levels from Kindergarten to 5th Grade!

  • Melissa Leon

    Miss Leon graduated from Biola University in 2017 and is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International. She earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in early childhood education and a minor in biblical and theological studies. Miss. Leon is passionate about engaging students desire to learn as they grow closer to God.

  • Mackenzie Lynch

    Mrs. Lynch has worked at King's Valley in a variety of capacities since 2012. She completed her bachelors degree at New Hope Christian College in Ministry Leadership with a concentration in Education. Mrs. Lynch then completed her masters degree in Education from Grand Canyon University. She is looking forward to an amazing year and is excited to help her students grow in their academic skills and personal relationship with Christ!

  • Brian McAuley

    Mr. McAuley graduated from California State University East Bay with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with the Teacher Preparation Concentration. Mr. McAuley has a passion for guiding students in growing their minds and spirituality and has been working in schools and churches his entire life. He is elated to have the opportunity to educate students on biblical truths and conventional knowledge in his classroom at Kings Valley Christian School.

  • Donna Noonan

    Mrs. Noonan graduated from Fresno State with a BA in Home Economics/Family Studies Emphasis and with a minor in Spanish and Psychology. She was in full time ministry with college students and always found ways to use her gift of teaching to serve others. Since 2014 Mrs. Noonan has been a guest teacher in public and private schools and found her niche with elementary age children. She has a special place in her heart for learning about other cultures and languages and desires to pass along as she teaches.

  • Charles Rotenberry

    Mr. Charles is a theatre enthusiast with experience in both Shakespearean and Musical Theatre. He has been serving as Vice President of the Diablo Theatre Company since 2015. He has also been involved with assisting with costuming and garment maintenance for KVCS's Broadway shows. Additionally, Mr. Charles has been volunteering for King's Valley since 2012. He is currently the Director of the Performing Arts department at King's Valley.

  • Lynee Runyon

    Mrs. Runyon has been a part of the King's Valley family for 17 years. She started off as the Technology & Library teacher in 2001. Over the years, Mrs. Runyon has worked as a substitute teacher in all grades, as well as in the Extended Care program. She returned to the Technology department in 2017 and feels blessed to be able to work with the awesome students and staff at King's Valley.

  • Amanda Shinn

    Mrs. Shinn has been teaching at KVCS since 2005. She graduated from Cal. State Sacramento with a BA in Liberal Studies and a minor in Human Development. Mrs. Shinn holds an ACSI teaching credential. She is passionate about making learning fun, engaging, and having students explore all their talents.

  • George Curtis Van Liew

    Mr. Van Liew piloted the King's Valley band program in 2014. In the fall of 2016, he joined the staff in a bigger role as the band program continues to expand into the junior high! Besides working with the band, Mr. Van Liew is also a talented artist specializing in watercolor. His passion is to help each student find their musical talent!

  • Mary Lou Wolfe

    Mrs. Wolfe is a proud 2000 KVCS alumni! She graduated from Eugene Bible College in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Science. Mrs. Wolfe has previously taught the 3rd grade and worked as a reading tutor. Mrs. Wolfe is passionate about investing in the future through the education and spiritual guidance of our youth. She feels called by the Lord to help her students become world changers and looks forward to an exciting journey with each student.
