Administration

  • Tim Owen, Lead Pastor/School Administrator

Pastor Tim grew up in Tacoma, WA, and felt called to ministry at 12 years old. He attended Eugene Bible College (now New Hope Christian College) to prepare for a life of serving others.

After college, he spent 10 years as Youth Pastor at San Jose Open Bible Church before moving to Concord in 2006 to help plant Life Church, serving in various roles including Youth Pastor, Children’s Ministry Director, and Associate Pastor. In 2009, he joined King’s Valley Christian School as Athletic Director, PE teacher, coach, and pastor, while continuing ministry at Life Church.

In 2020, Pastor Tim and his family moved to the Pacific Northwest to lead a church, but after four years, they returned to Life Church and King's Valley to step into the role of Lead Pastors..

He has been married to his wife, Brea, for 27 years, and they have been blessed with three boys. Pastor Tim is excited to lead Life Church and King's Valley by fostering a loving, faith-filled community where people can BELIEVE, BELONG and BECOME.

  • Brea Owen, Lead Pastor/Campus Pastor

Pastor Brea grew up in Antioch and has been serving in the church since her teenage years. With a professional background in healthcare, specializing in education and technology, she brings both compassion and creativity to her ministry.

She has a deep passion for mentoring and encouraging young girls and women, helping them discover their God-given identity and purpose. Outside of ministry, Brea loves going on walks, playing games, and spending quality time with her family.

She and Pastor Tim have been serving in ministry side by side for 28 years. Brea treasures her role as a boy mom to Isaac, Jeriah, and Grayson, and she adores her dog, Koda!

One of her life verses is Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This verse inspires her to keep serving faithfully and joyfully in every season.

  • Sharonda Boateng, Principal

Returning for her second year as Principal of King's Valley Christian School, Mrs. Boateng is grateful for all that God taught her and accomplished during her first year of leadership. The relationships built, lessons learned, and growth experienced have deepened her passion for serving the King's Valley community and strengthened her vision for the future. She is committed to partnering with families to provide a Christ-centered education that nurtures students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. With a heart for creating a school culture where every child is known, valued, safe, and loved, she is dedicated to helping students pursue excellence, grow in their faith, and become young men and women of integrity, compassion, and Christlike character. She is married and the proud mother of two children, and considers it a privilege to partner with families as they invest in both the education and spiritual growth of their children.

  • Joan Dusich, Pastor/Administrative Director
